Another dancehall classic by Nigerian performer Timaya is “Bang Bang.” Trinidad and Tobago native Kitwana Israel, who co-wrote and produced the song, was a co-author.
“Bang Bang,” which features a heavy bass line, has all the necessary components for great success in Africa, the Caribbean, and other parts of the world.
The song was recorded by Machel Montano, a superstar of Trinidadian soca, at his Trinidad and Tobago residence.
Patrick Elis, a Nigerian cinematographer, shot and directed the video in Miami and Jamaica.
