“Marrying only one wife will keep you from receiving your heavenly inheritance.” Kenyan cleric spills the beans
A veteran Kenyan cleric known as Bahati, Kevin Kioko has taught that marrying only one woman will lead many men to hell.
He made this commitment while discussing polygamy with one of his colleagues, Baite, on the “Men’s Corner” show.
According to him, because the Bible has never denounced polygamy, it is abhorrent for world Christian clerics to criticize polygamy while promoting a ‘one-woman union.’
He also stated that marrying only one woman would prevent many men from entering heaven.
His words:
“Why do pastors nowadays tell us to have only one wife. These pastors should show us in the Bible where God says we must have one wife.”
“I feel like something that might prevent men from going to heaven is choosing to have only one wife. God will question why I allowed Solomon and David to have many wives, but you chose to have just one.”
Some civilians were quick to condemn his view and heavily slammed him for portraying ignorance.
