After beating Tottenham Hotspur in an away Premier League match on Monday night, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino pinpointed two areas in which his team needs to improve.

Pochettino stood by as Chelsea defeated his previous team Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Pochettino’s team took all three points thanks to a hat-trick from Nicolas Jackson and a goal from Cole Palmer.

Pochettino stated in his post-match press conference that Chelsea must improve their game control and be more calm when playing against opponents in the future.

“Of course, we need to control ourselves better. We are building our confidence and need to be more relaxed in the way that we play,” Pochettino said.

He added,

“Overall, the performance was good because we arrived at a different moment and Tottenham was top of the table and to play against the leader, this performance showed we deserved to win and nothing to say more than that.”
